Kotak Group Smart Cash has been designed specially to cover incidental and ancillary expenses (medical and non-medical) in the event of hospitalization.

Persons to be covered: Customers of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. 

Age Band: 18 to 50 Yrs 

Policy Terms: 1 Year

Cover will commence from the date subsequent to the policy year expiry or from the date of receipt of renewal premium whichever is later subject to premium being received before the expiry of the grace period.

1. Covers Hospital Daily Cash Benefit: This cover will pay a specified daily cash amount for every Completed 24 hours of hospitalisation. Benefit Amount: Rs. 5,000 per day for max. no. of 30 days.

2. Covers* Day Care Procedure Benefit**: This cover will pay a specified daily cash amount if an Insured Person undergoes a Day Care Procedure as an inpatient for less than 24 hours in a Hospital. Benefit Amount: Rs. 5,000 once during a year
